Dave Kent

Though raised in Utah, Dave is quick to note he was born in Houston and proudly carries all that Southern Charm and Texan charisma into all his daily interactions. A prominent figure in the Utah veteran community, Dave is the first to self-disclose he is not a military veteran himself, but a dedicated "patriotic civilian" and committed veteran's advocate in all that he does.

As the past VP of Corp Affairs for the Association of the United States Army in previous years, Dave loves to network and collaborate with leaders in our community. His most recent accomplishments include, but are not limited to:

In the business community, Dave is a recognized leader and subject matter expert in the VA and Entrepreneur space for all their mortgage and retirement planning needs. However, Dave's most important and challenging role is Coach and head taskmaster to four rowdy, basketball-playing boys with his stunning wife of 21 years, Stacy.

Doug Cherry

Doug Cherry has extensive organizational and material development experience and has successfully led military and civilian organizations from well established companies to start-ups. Doug was a career Army officer, retiring as a Brigadier General after 37-years of enlisted, commissioned, active duty and reserve service where he split his time between operational assignments—including deployments—and Force Management assignments that included organizational, material, and training development. In his final assignment, Doug commanded the 76th Division (Operational Response) with nearly 7000 Soldiers and Civilians spread across the globe. As Commander of the 76th, he was also responsible for the Emergency Preparedness Liaison offices in all 10 FEMA regions.Doug is a Life Member of AUSA. Doug is currently the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors for Monterey Technologies Inc. (MTI). Doug is a Life Member of AUSA.

Mike Isom

Enlisting in the Utah National Guard in 1997 and commissioned through ROTC in 2002, Michael served a federal judicial clerkship, worked on Capitol Hill and supported two Pentagon Offices of General Counsel. In 2013 he deployed to Afghanistan, served as the J-2 for a multi-national task force Congressionally charged with reviewing $40 billion a year in grant and contracting activity and denying funds to malign actors. Following deployment, he was the Senior Legal Adviser for a bilateral program with a major Middle East partner towards strengthening internal security and critical infrastructure programs. In 2017, he returned to the Washington DC National Guard as the J-2 for the June 2020 civil disturbance response, and Director of Force Protection (J-34) for National Guard support to the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. He is currently Commander for 4th Battalion, 640th Regiment (RTI) and has served on the Chief National Guard Bureau’s Innovation Team since 2020. In his civilian capacity, he currently leads business and security operations for Adobe’s global data centers. He is also a Commissioner on the Utah legislature’s Veterans and Military Affairs Commission, is active in Scouting and serves on the Board of the Timpanogos Legal Center. He and his wife of 25 years are the parents of five children
